Platform Engineer

What We Do:
Cirrus Seven provides infrastructure, services and support that enables entrepreneurs and developers to build, manage and operate their AI/ML, Analytics and Internet services. We’re currently looking for a Platform Engineer to help build out our next generation AI/ML, Platform and WordPress offerings. You’ll be joining a small, expert team leveraging the latest open source technologies to build a market-defining platform.
What You Will Do:
- Work with an experienced team to develop and maintain Cirrus Seven’s platform
- Build services that enable our clients
- Leverage open source tools and contribute to the community
- Write code to integrate Cirrus Seven systems
- Collaborate with user interface designers and developers
- Ensure continuous improvement in our service delivery
- Document standard processes
- Build deployment scripts
- Promulgate standards across the organization
- Deploy standard product offering
Requirements:
- Intellectual curisosity
- A burning desire to build great products that make clients delighted (and productive)
- Proficiency in Go, Ruby, or Python
- Postgres or MySQL/MariaDB deployment experience
- Linux deployment, configuration and management experience
- Knowledge of internet facing network design patterns
- Ability to work effectively, remotely
- Docker experience
Nice to haves:
- OpenStack experience
- Switch configuration and deployment (Cumulus Linux)
- Proxmox familiarity
- Ceph deployment and maintenance
- Postgres or MySQL cluster deployment and maintenance
